pourya 216 Report post Posted June 15, 2010 lol not white enough? if jake isnt white I dont know who is! Overall Iranians are just ready to get their panties in a bunch! in 300 they said why depict us as blacks! in Alexander they said we were depicted as Arabs! here they say he is not white enough? Jake is dark and white enough to be an Iranian! had they given the role to an indian or latin actor they would have said too dark, a blonde they would have said to light! jake isnt darker than bahram radan for instance, so he looks very adequate for the role of an iranian! We Iranians are just a bunch of whiners! We sit and sit and sit and whine and when someone comes along and actually does something we whine even more! what a culture! Siamak: 29 Report post Posted June 15, 2010 Well P jan for this J.Bruckheimer as producer of this movie and J.August as the first executive producer of Prince of Persia were sued by two iranian people (this case was discussed in VOA and Radio farda),but i think it was just like the other cases (you remember how many people said wanna sue Alexander and also 300 ! and finally we never see one of them in any justice court of U S A). This is not good for us ! :punishing_wft:

WalterArcher: 0 Report post Posted July 21, 2010 Prince of Persia is a nice movie.Actually it is a popcorn film which can be enjoyed if not taken too seriously. This movie seems to have made especially for the teen audience in mind as it boasts of an ample amount of mindless action, magical escapades, running, jumping, hiding & chasing around. This is really a nice movie and I enjoyed it very much. Namiabad: 1 Report post Posted February 23, 2011 It's not set in Medieval Persia at all. The movie clearly invokes Achaemenian themes but ruins it by bringing in Turks and Dervishes. Turks didn't live in the Middle East during the Achaemenian period and Dervishes hadn't yet existed as Islam wasn't professed.
