keano, why can't niki play? he was so good in the other game!

Due to his recent injury! (Yesterday against Saba Battery) though I don't know how serious his injury is, To my knowledge so far he is doing not bad, and apparently his injury is not that serious.

Yesterday during the game had had to be replaced, just because of his injury. :rolleyes:B)

Esteghlal head coach "Ghale-noee" said it's not a serious injury, though they're waiting for X-Ray results.

Here is a link in regard to his condition, I can't read Farsi, though I know it's about him:

We currently hold the best offence line in Asia by far, no defence line can endure our awesome strikers! :rolleyes:B)

SUMMARY:

On October 13 there are two possibilities that either ensures our advancement to the next round ( Route 1) or eliminates us ( Route 5).

There is only two ways (Route 4,5) that Qatar can have a chance to advance. In Route 5 Iran will already been eliminated and advancement would be gifted to one of the two arab contingents. In Routes 2 and 3 Qatar will have no chance of advancement. But they will become the sole determinent of who will be advancing to the next round between Iran and Jordan.

If you look at it from another angle, it is quite apparent and interesting that if Iran is going to loose, they better loose with 2 goals difference rather than one or 3.

This makes it tactically very interesting. And that is because in the case that Iran would be down by a goal, there is not only absolutely necessary to attack massively and risk big, but also a no big deal and even with more benefit if in the course of this quest to win this game, Iran would recieve a second goal.A loss with one goal difference to Qatar means that Iran will have 1 out of 3 pssibility to advance depending on Qatar and Jordans possible results, but a 2 goals difference loss for Iran not only sends out a still motivated Qatar in front of Jordan , but also gives Iran a 2 out of 5 possibility for advancement depending on Qatar-Jordan possible results.Go and figure it out.

All in all. This game is a must win for Iran.Any other scoreline will be immensely difficult to put us through.

lol...I actually met some of them...about 5 yrs ago, (we lived in Iran back then) my uncle was coming to visit us so we all (my family...all of them) went to airport and it was the night that Teame Melli was coming back from somewhere...although they went through some other doors that ppl don't see them, I saw some of them...(ie Karimi & Kavianpoor)...but since they didn't want tobe seen and I saw them when they were passing by me, I didn't really do anything, but it was cool ;)
