If U are a fan of SPY-movies and the Belgian Comics, I strongly recommend the Danger Girl: Ultimate Collection!

the creators are American, and it is so well-drawn with only 1 issue/year!!!

When I first started drawing comics, I discovered that there were not many text-books out there for the aspiring artists! And those few existing were either very poor in content or expensive. Recently I came across a site offering free and comprehensive guide!

If you are an aspiring artist, who happens to drop by here, you’ll probably find this link useful! ;)

The story is written by Damon Lindelof the writer of the HIT show "Lost" on TV!

Featuring the exellent art of Leinil Francis Yu!

The ongoing WILDSIDERZ from the creators of DangerGirl is recommended! Jason Scott Campbell is my favorite comic-artist!

Here is a sample page from the latest Shahnameh Comic book and a small video animation: any thoughts?

Back in 2005 I did a few remarks in the related thread and from what I see much of the weaknesses are still present in the work! Very rough line-art and the characters look too European! Even the Deevs look like demons from European myths and have little adopted from the Persian traditions. More Lord of the Rings than Shahnameh in my opinion.
