Never tried skiing... some day I will.

Well, I tell myself that every year but snowboarding is just too much fun!

d-d-d-don't stop the beat

c-c-c-can't control the beat

p-p-p-people in the street

C'mon everybody and move your feet!

Okay let's start describing our worst wipe-outs ever!

Me:

Was on the 'blue' going downhill fast... a little too fast.

While trying to maintain control I tried cornering to turn left but

cut too deep on the rear and the momentum threw me

hard, flat and face first on the snow with the same impact as

falling horizontal on a pool. I sure ate plenty of snow!

Then, the steepness and the speed threw my feet with board

over my back and head, essentially flipping me over 180 degrees.

And the force still dragged me a couple of meters on my back,

pulling my jacket and t-shirt up and filling my back with more snow!

When I finally stopped, I stood up and saw my goggles and hat

way way up hill.

So after this brutal fall I only did the sensible thing.

I went back again. :dance_baby_wft:

Haha, I love Shemshak!!! I never skied there, but one of my uncles had a villa there, and it was really a fun place :yeah:

Hmm... biggest wipeout....

Well I can't think of one in particular, but more than a couple times I've wiped out going really fast and done several flips while my hat and goggles go in all directions. That hurts! Especially when the snow's really hard.

Also I remember going off some jumps that were set up kinda bad and then I launch off them in some crazy direction, get really high in the air and end up landing flat on my back or side...uhhhfff!!!

I miss it, I never skied, just snowboarded and I used snowblades once. Snowblades were really easy, I put them on the first time and I went down without falling once...I think I might buy some for this winter!!

biggest wipe out... hmmmm

well one of them was wen i was goin up with a dish.... while i was goi up this guy was coming down and couldnt control himself... lol ....so while i was jumping off he was somehow skiing faster..... and bumped me sooo hard!! i was crying from pain!! and then like he was under me haha!! but after that i started again and believe it or not i have become close friends with him!!LOL

another one was wen i was goin down a hard course in shemshak..... so at the end i finished and i thought it was FINISHED!! i go down... and i see that everyone else is kinda on a lower lever than me..... and i see that the damn course gets cuts off ...like a mini cliff.... about 2 metres down.......not a gud scene....i wasnt ready so i jump down and somehow i do the splits!!..........ukh!! PAIN!! lol and yeh those were to two most painful wipeouts lol

Oouch Ouch Ouch!

All right a new one.

This didn't happen to me directly, but I saw the aftermath.

So I'm going downhill on my snowboard, zig zagging here and there as usual,

then I get to a flat corner and ran out of steam; I was tired so I sit down

close to the edge. This was the outter edge on a corner turning right so the

pines and bushes were to my left. Well, I'm sitting there enjoying the scenery

when I hear shuffling from the bushes and think nothing of it. Must be some

squirrel. Then moments latter this dude walks out of the bushes all covered

in sawdust and twigs. We make eye contact followed by a few moments of

dead silence which he broke saying "I fell off man..." and kept walking.

Out of politeness I waited till he was a good distance before cracking up hard!!

hahah!
