Machines feel to smooth & easy even though they aint.

Free weights r the opp. to me,

Put i pick free weights, cauz the harder it is, then the better for me it is.

i dont like machines and i dont like weights. I like to walk not on machines, because they are not good for your ankle. I like to climb up stairs, I like to do little push ups, sit ups, squats, leg works arm works. i dont like to look too toned and i dont like to look flabby, so those excersises are enough to get me what i want. :)

so what do you guys prefer (if you life weights) and why?

I voted for free weights, but you have to BE CAREFUL!!!

Just recently, I loaded weights on a barbell while it was on the ground; then I realized that I needed to unload the weights so I can put the barbell back on to the bench....long story short, I was too lazy and I injured my back!!!

I didn't realize this until a couple of days later when I was about to CRY from the pain!

1 week of Tylenols...and I'm still not ready to go back :(

Ok, the reason free wights are better is that they make ALL of your muscles to work at the same time, while machines isolate certain muscle groups, and there isn't a machine for every mucle in your body!

Thx you guys :friends:

The pain is almost gone :)

Pourya, I don't know if were asking about the definition in my back or not, but I've been working mostly on my lower back now, and the "v-shape" is coming along nicely :D
