I concur, his tie is very nice and the song is nice as well.
  2. Azerbaijan has been quiet during the protests in Shiraz, Mashhad, Tehran, and Esfahan. Why haven't the Torks taken to the streets to fight for democracy? Any ideas?

  6. For over 30 years the Islamic Republic of Iran has ruined the Iranian economy, unsuccessfully tried to completely eradicate Persian culture along with the Iranian national identity, toyed with the Iranian people by tolerating some reforms, and now they’ve turned their guns on the those same people. You know there’s something wrong when a government begins to indiscriminately shoot its own people dead just for peacefully assembling on the streets. Perhaps you may think to yourself that any sort of assembly in Iran is illegal and not constitutionally protected. As a matter of fact, the Islamic Constitution of Iran allows for peaceful assemblies in public spaces. With the legal issue out of the picture, the only other explanation for the genocidal behavior of the Islamic Republic is that the leadership isn’t really Iranian. Everyone knows that the Mullahs originally came from such countries as Lebanon, Bahrain, and Iraq. With the exception of Iran, none of those countries had sizable Persian communities and they weren’t under the control of Persian leaders when they exported their Mullahs to Iran. After putting two and two together you soon realize the Mullahs aren’t Iranian after all. They’re the bastard children of foreigners with major identity issues. Iran is suffering at the hands of these brutal occupiers who failed to effectively assimilate into Persian society. Everyone else in Iran regards his/herself as an Iranian despite the language spoken at home. The idiots running Iran have little regard for the country they’re oppressing. I wonder if they ever got the fax from ET: “Khamenei Go Home.”
  7. Three major Iranian cities have exploded in protest today, March 1st, 2011. The brave people of Shiraz, Mashhad, and Tehran rushed the streets in all hours of the day to call for the expulsion of Seyed Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Armor cladded riot police attacked the peaceful demonstrators but failed to break their resolve. The people are tired of the restrictions placed on them by a distant ruling elite with little remorse for its inhuman actions. In central Iran, countless protestors screamed "Death to the Dictator," a reference to Ayatollah Khamenei. A huge poster of Khamenei hung over Niyayesh highway that read: "Khamenei, say hello to the end." Some even called for the establishment of an Iranian Republic, which was heard for the first time in 2009 post-election protests. These protests were sparked by the recent arrest of opposition leaders and their families. Moussavi and Karroubi have been moved to an undisclosed location and as one protestor said: "We won't stop protesting. For every day they're (Moussavi and Karroubi) missing, we'll protest twice as much."

    Greek Music

Greek composition is similar to classical Iranian music. Wonder who used the Santur first lol?

    Prince of Persia

It's not set in Medieval Persia at all. The movie clearly invokes Achaemenian themes but ruins it by bringing in Turks and Dervishes. Turks didn't live in the Middle East during the Achaemenian period and Dervishes hadn't yet existed as Islam wasn't professed.

    Black Swan

Does any one else feel Black Swan was a good movie and it's not just because the............I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't seen it but for those who have, they should know what I'm talking about ;). I really enjoyed the plot twist and character development. Other good movie with a similar nature is Don't Look Back.
  12. I honestly don't believe that all America has to offer is porn, drugs, and other illicit materials. The United States' work ethnic is a prized virtue to have in one's country. Americans have always traditionally worked hard, although that is quickly changing. Imagine where a country in the Middle East would be if its work ethnic was as strong as the Americans. Also, I hope everyone realizes that we have negative aspects of our culture that wasn't introduced by any Western power. Our society is plagued by drug abuse, power abuses, and religiously ordained adultery known as Sigheh. Modernization does not equal Westernization and not all vices come from the West.
