  1. lo, the limitations of the human mind. there is only one God, Allah means The God, exactly as hebrew HaEloah. "These Muslims [ishmaelim] are not in any way idolators. [idolatry] has already been removed from their mouths and their hearts, and they unify G-d in the appropriate manner without any admixture [of idolatrous beliefs]." (Responsa 448) - Maimonides Do you even know who Maimonides is? You seem to know nothing about Islam, when you say we accept their Prophets. All Prophets are from God, Aloah as Jesus called him in aramaic. [2.136] Say: We believe in Allah and (in) that which had been revealed to us, and (in) that which was revealed to Ibrahim and Ismail and Ishaq and Yaqoub and the tribes, and (in) that which was given to Musa and Isa, and (in) that which was given to the prophets from their Lord, we do not make any distinction between any of them, and to Him do we submit. Jews and Christians are not Kafirs, they are Ahlul Kitab, People of the Book, and Muslims are allowed to Marry Jews and Christians but it is forbidden to marry Kafirs. They were Muslim scholars. read at : www.muslimheritage.com http://www.ummah.net/history/scholars/index.html Jabir Ibn Haiyan died 803 - known as Geber to the west Mohammad Bin Musa al-Khawarizmi died 840 Yaqub Ibn Ishaq al-Kindi 800 Thabit Ibn Qurra 836 Ali Ibn Rabban al-Tabari 838 Abu Abdullah al-Battani 858 Al-Farghani 860 Mohammad Ibn Zakariya al-Razi 864 Abu al-Nasr al-Farabi 870 Abul Hasan Ali al-Masu'di died 957 Abu al-Qasim al-Zahrawi 936 (see also) Abul Wafa Muhammad al-Buzjani 940 Abu Ali Hasan Ibn al-Haitham 965 Abu al-Hasan al-Mawardi 972 Abu Raihan al-Biruni 973 Ibn Sina 980 (see also) Omar al-Khayyam 1044 Abu Hamid al-Ghazali 1058 Abu Marwan Ibn Zuhr 1091 Al-Idrisi 1099 Ibn Sina - doctor of doctors Ibn Rushd 1128 Ibn al-Baitar died 1248 Nasir al-Din al-Tusi 1201 Jalal al-Din Rumi 1207 Ibn al-Nafis 1213 Ibn Khaldun 1332 For Science, just go to http://www.harunyahya.com/miracles_of_the_quran_01.php
  2. for an imbecile that insults the Prophet, it is no surprise that you do the same with his Beloved. Imam Husayn is a man that every great man attaches himself to, because of his purity and his commitment to the soul message of Islam. Imam Husayn loved all those who believed in God, and there is no concept of nationalism in islam. satan divides people with nationalism instilling upon them a false sense of pride which leads to racism and ignorance. which history books?
  3. you turn a blind eye to every reply, the hadith are nothing but weak and fabricated ones, which dont even exist in Shia hadith, as this is a ploy by the enemies of God. you're research is nothing but racist sites, so you shoot yourself in the foot when you claim that. it was pride that led satan to revolt, and it's narrowminded racist aryan nationalism that leeds you to this biased view. Islamic view of puberty is when she beings her menstrual cycle. That age is usually 13. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Puberty
  4. Very many weak inconsisten fradulous narrations mean nothing. Have you conceded that this is a lie? There is no prescribed age for starting to wear the hijab, the only requirement for hijab is that it be worn when a girl reaches puberty.
  5. who is disagreeing about non-believers? they spread all the viles known to man. You have yet to prove your case? Jews are not non-believers. [7:159] Among the followers of Moses there are those who guide in accordance with the truth, and the truth renders them righteous. [2.62] Surely those who believe, and those who are Jews, and the Christians, and the Sabians, whoever believes in Allah and the Last day and does good, they shall have their reward from their Lord, and there is no fear for them, nor shall they grieve. [5.69] Surely those who believe and those who are Jews and the Sabians and the Christians whoever believes in Allah and the last day and does good-- they shall have no fear nor shall they grieve. Where does it say anywhere in the Qur'an that people are supposed to wear different clothes? Shariah, the law of exoteric path, is based on Qur'an and Sunnah. I have given you the source for every quote I gave. Random people? I'm citing academics, Professors, who are certainly vested more in knowledge than your narrowminded soul. Goldhizer is a known western source for Islamic teaching, a Hungarian jewish scholar. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ignaz_Goldziher The Qur'an is not always literal, but you should know this. we cannot even begin to understand the depth of Qur'an. Rumi, ibn Arabi, ibn sina, they were men of knowledge who journied into the deeper philosophical meanings. There are no contradictions, only if they are taken out of context, a suggestion if you are interested in the truth to read the commentaries. To learn about Qur'an and Science, read about the Islamic Empire during the time of the Crusades. Qur'an asks Muslims, do you not ponder? always urging us to think, the only time the Qur'an tells us where men are not equal is when it comes to knowledge "Do not the Unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together (as one unit of creation), before we clove them asunder? We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe? (The Noble Quran, 21:30)" "And God has created every animal from water: of them there are some that creep on their bellies; some that walk on two legs; and some that walk on four. God creates what He wills for verily God has power over all things. (The Noble Quran, 24:45)" life originated in water, no? One need not go deep into history to find out, western civilization only survived through learning from the Muslims, they learned arabic to translate muslim scholars works. PBS documentary Islam an Empire of Faith should be enough for a feeble minded person as yourself. http://www.pbs.org/empires/islam/ Look up Adelard of Bath who was among the western scholars in the middle ages to translate islamic works. Myself having lived all my life in a western country even learned this at school. [2.7] Allah has set a seal upon their hearts and upon their hearing and there is a covering over their eyes, and there is a great punishment for them. do not follow in the footsteps of amir taheri, who concocted the lie and tried to convince people of it.

    Adam and EVe

According to Islam, God sent Prophets to every corner of the world, 124,000 Prophets. what happened to their message is unknown. Adam & Eve concept in islam is different than the typical Judeo-Christian version, Eve was not created from the rib of Adam, Qur'an says one was created from the other, no mention of gender. neither did they commit sin in the "garden of eden". hadith state there have been 1000 Adam & Eves, the Prophet Adam scriptutes refer to, was the Last. so evolution may have occured.

  8. Yeah it's very disturbing that sunnis believe this. The Islamic Republic follows Shia Ithna Ashari, in which these allegations are easily refuted as Sunni hadith are usually fraudulous. Aisha was women who plagued the Prophet, a verse even came down in the Qur'an about her, but ofcourse you had hadith fabrications on which this claims are based on. Her age was 17 / 20 according to Shia Hadith. By the same token, the bukhari hadith that claim that she was 7 years old also claim that God can be seen, clearly revealing their corruption, but even Sunni scholars dismiss these claims as fradulous. My seventh argument was: According to almost all the historians Asma (ra), the elder sister of Ayesha (ra) was ten years older than Ayesha (ra). It is reported in Taqri'bu'l-tehzi'b as well as Al-bidayah wa'l-nihayah that Asma (ra) died in 73 hijrah when she was 100 years old. Now, obviously if Asma (ra) was 100 years old in 73 hijrah she should have been 27 or 28 years old at the time of hijrah. If Asma (ra) was 27 or 28 years old at the time of hijrah, Ayesha (ra) should have been 17 or 18 years old at that time. Thus, Ayesha (ra), if she got married in 1 AH (after hijrah) or 2 AH, was between 18 to 20 years old at the time of her marriage. The relevant references required in this argument are provided below: For the Difference of Ayesha's (ra) and Asma's (ra) Age According to Abda'l-Rahman ibn abi zanna'd: i.e. Asma (ra) was ten years older than Ayesha. (Siyar A`la'ma'l-nubala', Al-Zahabi, Vol 2, Pg 289, Arabic, Mu'assasatu'l-risalah, Beirut, 1992) According to Ibn Kathir: i.e. "she [Asma] was elder to her sister [Ayesha] by ten years". (Al-Bidayah wa'l-nihayah, Ibn Kathir, Vol 8, Pg 371, Arabic, Dar al-fikr al-`arabi, Al-jizah, 1933) For Asma's (ra) Age at Her Death in 73 AH According to Ibn Kathir: i.e. "She [Asma] saw the killing of her son during that year [i.e. 73 AH], as we have already mentioned, five days later she herself died, according to other narratives her death was not five but ten or twenty or a few days over twenty or a hundred days later. The most well known narrative is that of hundred days later. At the time of her death, she was 100 years old." (Al-Bidayah wa'l-nihayah, Ibn Kathir, Vol 8, Pg 372, Arabic, Dar al-fikr al-`arabi, Al-jizah, 1933) According to Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani: i.e. "She [Asma (ra)] lived a hundred years and died in 73 or 74 AH." (Taqribu'l-tehzib, Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani, Pg 654, Arabic, Bab fi'l-nisa', al-harfu'l-alif, Lucknow) ---------------------------------- Even in the link you gave, this information is given Evidence that Aisha was older than nine They argue that there is ample evidence from other Islamic histories which allow us to infer that Aisha must have been older than nine when her marriage was consummated. See these websites for sustained argument: [11], [12], [13]. http://www.understanding-islam.com/ri/mi-004.htm http://www.studying-islam.org/articletext.aspx?id=935 Tabari reports that Abu Bakr had four children and all four were born during the Jahiliyyah -- the pre Islamic period. If Aisha was born in the period of Jahiliyyah, she could not have been less than fourteen years in 622. (Tabari, Vol. 4, p. 50) According to Ibn Hajar, Fatima was five years older than Aisha. Fatima is reported to have been born when Muhammad was thirty-five years old. Muhammad migrated to Medina when he was fifty-two, making Aisha fourteen years old in 622. (Tamyeez al-Sahaabah, Ibn Hajar al-Asqalaniy, Vol. 4, p. 377) According to hadith in Bukhari and Muslim, Aisha is said to have joined Muhammad on the raid that culminated in the Battle of Badr, in 624. However, no one below the age of fifteen was allowed to accompany raiding parties. Hence Aisha must have been at least fifteen in 624, making her at least thirteen when she was married. Muslim critics of the early marriage theory also criticize the relevant hadith as weak. They say that the hadith collectors Bukhari and Muslim applied less stringent standards to hadith relating to history than they did to hadith relating directly to prayer and family law. Hence a historical tradition included in Bukhari or Muslim cannot be presumed to be "strong". They also say that hadith sourced to Urwa through informants in Iraq were collected after he migrated to Iraq at the age of seventy-one. His memory was then weak and those hadith -- which include the hadith relating to Aisha -- are suspect. One book, Politics, Gender, and the Islamic Past: the Legacy of A'isha bint Abi Bakr, by D.A. Spellberg, Columbia University Press, 1994, argues that Aisha's youth was deliberately emphasized by scholars who supported the Abbasid caliphate and rejected Shi'a claims for the descendants of Ali ibn Abi Talib. (This would have been the period when Islamic history, and the hadith, were first written down.) Aisha was the only virgin wife of Muhammad, divinely destined for him, and thus divinely inspired in her opposition to Ali. Claims for her youth at marriage are claims for her virginity and special status (see [15] for the reference). ---- in this last statement we see how Caliphs fabricated hadith.
  9. once agian, facts mean nothing to you. for someone who does not know what islam is, you seem to be set on proclaiming that you do and come to blasphemous and logically flawed conclusions. once again, where in the Qur'an does it say anything about dresscode, besides promoting Modesty? Imam Ja’far al Sadiq (a) reported from the Prophet (s) who said: "Whosoever possesses in his heart 'asabiyyah (prejudice in any of its forms such as tribalism, racism, nationalism) even to the extent of a mustard seed, God will raise him on the Day of Resurrection with the (pagan) Bedouins of the Jahiliyyah (the pre Islamic era).” [Al Kulayni, al Kafi, vol. 2, bab al ‘asabiyah, p. 308, hadith # 3] I am nobody, I am simply stating the fact that Islam is the only religion of The God in its totality. anyone who rejects, please come with your evidence, as Christians Ministers, Jewish Kabbalah Rabbis are converting to Islam. The rate of conversation to islam in the western world who realize that Islam is the only truth, speaks for itself. Goldziher regarded Judaism and Islam as kindred faiths. Islam originated as a "Judaized Meccan cult," but evolved into "the only religion which, even in its doctrinal and official formulation, can satisfy philosophical minds. My ideal was to elevate Judaism to a similar rational level." - jewish discovery of islam http://www.geocities.com/martinkramerorg/JewishDiscovery.htm My favourite convert being Professor Thomas McElwain of Stockholm University / Turku Finland, of comparitive religion who converted to Shia islam and has written Islam in the Bible. http://www.al-islam.org/islaminthebible/ OT & NT both bear witness to Islam, literally mentioning Prophet Muhammad, see my signature. The fact that Qur'an was the source of Science in the middle ages also speaks volumes. http://www.muslimheritage.com/
  10. Ridiculous, the length some asinine individuals go to make their case against islam, if anything Imam Husayn (AS) is one man in history that every Leader attaches himself to. Mahatma Ghandi “I learned from Husayn how to be wronged and be a winner.” Thomas Carlyle "The best lesson which we get from the tragedy of Karbala is that Husayn and his companions were the rigid believers of God. They illustrated that numerical superiority does not count when it comes to truth and falsehood. The victory of Husayn despite his minority marvels me!" Sir Thomas Adams Professor of Arabic and oriental studies at the University of Cambridge.  "… a reminder of the blood-stained field of Kerbela, where the grandson of the Apostle of God fell at length, tortured by thirst and surrounded by the bodies of his murdered kinsmen, has been at anytime since then sufficient to evoke, even in the most lukewarm and heedless, the deepest emotions, the most frantic grief, and an exaltation of spirit before which pain, danger and death shrink to unconsidered trifles." [A Literary History of Persia, London, 1919, p. 227] http://www.al-islam.org/kaaba14/6.htm Even hindus in India mourn Imam Husayn, they regard 12 imams as Gods.

  12. No, Salaam comes from Shalom, arabic and hebrew are both semitic languages. shalom alechom for jews is salam aleykom for muslims. Just like Allah and HaEloah are the same, al being the definate article in arabic and ha being the definate article in hebrew with ilah and eloah meaning G-d. do not kid yourself with thinking that's the historic meaning, it's 2 sentences from a website.
  13. Thank you for your reply, in verse 5:51 the translator incorrectly translates the word to friend when it is supposed to be Master- Arab citizens in Israel have near to none rights, they are not allowed to purchase any land, they are shunned in the educational system, as israeli professors such as Illan Pappe point out, and they cannot live in certain areas, in all walks of life they are inferior. when it comes to palestinians in the occupied territories, well that's simply horrible as many israelis infact point out and fight for. Yes, non believers will go to hell because they reject the truth, and spread corruption. but then again philosophers such as averröes say hell is nothing but nonexistence. it only follows logic that we are held accountable for the things we do. [2.62] Surely those who believe, and those who are Jews, and the Christians, and the Sabians, whoever believes in Allah and the Last day and does good, they shall have their reward from their Lord, and there is no fear for them, nor shall they grieve. and no the law would not have conformed to Islam, because it is a lie, there was never any suggestion. Any form of Asabiyyah, racism in any sense is forbidden.
  14. i always find it amusing when my iranian friends greet each other with salaam when they have no connection to Islam, As-Salam is one of God's name, The Peace, and by greeting others with it you are affirming your unity as one in the ummah.
