"Rec 2"

Surprisingly a Horror movie sequel that is almost as good as its original! It takes over where the first Rec ended and while continuing the same path it tries to avoid a complete repetition of style by adding a computer game type of multi-cam narration and FPS. Not smoothly contextualized but still an appreciated gimmick. Rec 2 sets up for both a second sequel and a possible game!

I loved the first one, why shouldn't I watch the second one?

Sadly I missed this one when it was shown here in only a week! :eek_wft: from producers of Pan's Labyrinth and Orphanage. Have to catch it when it comes out on BD!

Cost me 50 euros to get it on blu-ray all the way from Spain but worth it! sexyness i HD! :D

Well this could have been about me if only I had written a diary! Hehe, no but its rather about a girl with an insatiable hunger for sex, living in Spain. This might sound like a Euro sexplotation cliche theme but I assure you that it is not the case. With a rather realistic approach this based-on-a-true-story book adaption tackles the cons and pros of both promiscuity and monogamy. From prostitution to relationships, love and lust. Not to mention the prejudices and morality that come with them. I happen to share the same point of view, morally and philosophically, as the story of the movie so the bottom line is in line with my own thoughts and sentiments.

Snapped this up on BD on the weekend. This is every bit as good as the reviews suggest it is. Fantastic film, one of the best i've seen this year.

I haven't seen the Canadian original "Young People Funking" but for being a south European flick with youth as demographic target and sex as subject matter "Grado 3" is pretty tame!

Finally watched it and really liked it! Sophisticated cinematography, sustainable suspense and unlike what many critics assess also a consistent dramaturgy and fully comprehensive screenplay. I was even caught by its so called matryoshka twist!

its the UK BD that I've watched, worth the sale price. Prophet I havent yet, watched the trailer and it didnt appeal to me, maybe when I have less to watch I give it a shot. I saw that Hierro which I wrote about above will be out on BD in UK this month, nice cover as well! will be getting it!

A Prophet is really of highest quality pourya jan. I'll check Hierro out then for sure.

Seems the continent is producing better titles than Hollywood at the moment!!

yepp, Hollywood is even remaking our stuff! I really dont like the trailer of the Let the right one in remake, as expected its too in-your-face and flashy, less suggestive and creepy!

I don't think i saw the original pourya jan. I also see that they are remaking the excellent 2001 German film "Das Experiment", now called "The Experiment".
