So what are your thought on Najafi's new song?

I have become a big fan of Najafi in recent years, not because I enjoy his music that much but because I love his insane level of creativity and extreme innovation! There is such an extreme range in his music which the comparison of this particular song and lets say "Period" song (play below) shows. I get surprised every time and even more so this time after hearing this beautiful serenade for the mother in gilaki (correct me if I  am wrong). The fact that this was the last song I expected to hear when I clicked on play gives this song a 3 star and the the fact that I really was charmed by its quality and performance makes it a 4 star song for me!

Although over the past 4-5 years I have heard his name frequently on Iranian discussion boards and sites, but I have almost never fully listened to his songs, mainly because of the vocal pitch ability shortcoming, some of the Iranian scale runs you hear in his vocal is at times off tune/flat, though his shot at creativity and attempt in combining pop music with traditional music is to be admired, nice music though.

I believe Shahin's mom passed away recently and this is his dedication to his mom.

I like his music a lot. He mostly sings about topics that most singers don't dare talking about. Here is my all time fav track from him. try listening to this after couple of drinks.
